Warranty
Reiter Table Company guarantees that its products are free from workmanship defects. For a period of one year, at Reiter Table Co. discretion, we will perform any necessary modifications, adjustments, repairs, replacements, or additions to maintain the quality of our products—at no additional cost to the customer—subject to the limitations and exceptions outlined below. This warranty applies to products used in residential settings and covers:
Limitations & Exceptions
Our pieces are built with durability and longevity in mind. However, certain natural characteristics and environmental factors are to be expected with solid wood furniture.
Solid wood may naturally experience:

Movement or shifting

Checking (small splits or cracks)

Warping or swelling
-
Color changes over time
-
Variations in wood grain & minerals streaks
These are inherent qualities of real wood and do not indicate a defect. Additionally, environmental influences such as light exposure, temperature fluctuations, and changes in humidity can impact the condition and appearance of your furniture. These elements are part of the natural aging process of solid wood and are not covered under warranty.
This Warranty Does Not Cover:

Damage caused by improper use, abuse, neglect, or accidents
(e.g., dragging the table, standing on it, or using it as a workbench)

Damage from water, spills, or chemical exposure

Normal wear and tear
(e.g., surface marks, scratches, or finish dulling)

Modifications or repairs made by anyone other than our authorized team

Commercial or outdoor use
(unless the piece was specifically designed for that purpose)
Dimensions & Sizing
All custom tables are built according to the dimensions confirmed at the time of order.
Variations of up to ± .40 inch (depth) and ± 1.5 inch (Length x WIdth) may occur due to the nature of wood and the machining processes. These are not considered defects. If your table significantly deviates from the agreed-upon measurements, we will repair or replace it at no cost.
Structural Integrity & Damage
We warrant our tables against structural defects including:

Loose joints, Warping beyond normal limits , and splitting or cracking unrelated to misuse or environmental conditions.

Any damage occurring during delivery or installation by our team will be addressed and corrected promptly.

If your table was delivered by a third-party courier or moved by others, damage claims must be directed to the transportation provider unless otherwise agreed upon.
Appearance:
The customer acknowledges that the appearance of wood used in their product may differ from any samples previously viewed. These variations are due to the natural characteristics of wood and the unique craftsmanship involved in creating each individual piece. The customer also understands that wood undergoes natural changes over time, including shifts in color, tone, and texture. These changes are to be expected and are not considered defects.
As such, Reiter Table Co. does not make any guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding the exact color, sheen, or appearance of wood finishes—either at the time of delivery or as the product ages.
Furthermore, the customer acknowledges that wood used in Reiter Table Co. products may feature naturally occurring characteristics such as knots, cracks, pits, mineral deposits, gum streaks, small pinholes, checks, color variations, and unique or irregular grain patterns. The presence and frequency of these features will vary depending on the specific material selected and are part of the authentic nature of handcrafted and machined wood products.
Each piece is truly one-of-a-kind. As a result, Reiter Table Co. makes no guarantee that any product will be an exact replica of another, including samples, floor models, or photos.
Refund Policy:
At Reiter Table Co., we take great pride in our craftsmanship and are confident you'll be pleased with the quality of your custom piece. Upon receiving your order, we kindly ask that you inspect it carefully and contact us promptly if there are any issues and/or concerns. If the item does not match the specifications outlined in your order, we will consider refund requests submitted within seven days of delivery. Please note that a restocking fee may apply, and custom and made to order items are final sale and not eligible for return.
